The goal was to design a secure, intuitive, and visually appealing cryptocurrency app that would cater to both beginners and experienced users. The app needed to simplify asset management while maintaining trust and clarity throughout the user journey.
I crafted a clean and modern UI with smooth micro-interactions to create a seamless experience. Emphasis was placed on clarity, accessibility, and usability, ensuring users could easily navigate, analyze data, and perform actions without friction. Subtle animations and visual hierarchy were used to build trust and guide user attention.
Before jumping into design, I collaborated with the product manager to understand the pain points of crypto users, especially beginners. We identified that most apps overwhelm users with complex data and unintuitive flows.
I analyzed popular crypto apps like Binance, Coinbase, and Bitget to identify UX patterns, visual styles, and gaps. While most apps focused on data density, they lacked simplicity and guidance for first-time users.
I created core task flows such as onboarding, checking balance, buying and selling coins, and tracking prices. Then I translated these into wireframes to test flow clarity, usability, and structure.
Based on feedback and iterations, I designed a clean and modern dark-themed interface, optimized for readability, clarity, and visual trust. I also created reusable UI components, ensuring consistency and development efficiency.
I built interactive prototypes using Figma and added micro-interactions via Lottie and GIFs to improve user engagement and feedback. We conducted internal testing, gathered feedback, and refined the details accordingly.
